Ms. Thomas served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Sodexo, NA, which provides catering, facilities management, employee benefits, and personal home services, from July 2023 until her retirement in February 2025. From January 2021 to October 2022, Ms. Thomas served as the chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer for United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) and was a member of UPS’s executive leadership team. Ms. Thomas held successive leadership roles in U.S. operations since she began her career with UPS in 1989. Prior to October 2021, she was UPS’s chief human resources officer, leading strategic human resources initiatives for a workforce of more than 540,000 employees. She also previously served as president of UPS’s west region with responsibility for product growth and delivery operations in 25 U.S. central and western states. Ms. Thomas is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, serves on the board of directors for the National Urban League and has served on the boards of various nonprofits, including the Orangewood Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and several local United Way chapters.
